Rainer Blair, President and CEO, Danaher Corporation

Rainer Blair is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Danaher Corporation. He brings more than 30 years of deep and diverse experience to his current role. He joined Danaher in 2010 and has held leadership roles across several Opcos followed by being named the Executive Vice President of the Life Sciences Platform before assuming his current role in September 2020. He is a U.S. Army veteran. He earned his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and his M.S. from Boston University.

Jai Shankar Krishnan, Vice President, High Growth Markets, Danaher Corporation 

Jai has been with Danaher for the last 15 years. In 2007, Jai joined as a Regional President for Danaher India. In 2017, he assumed leadership for Danaher in Southeast Asia along with his responsibility for India. Since 2019, Jai has been managing the High Growth Markets for Danaher Corporation.

Roberto Mendes, Latin America President, Danaher Corporation

International executive, with leadership roles in Latin America, emerging countries, US, and Europe.
With a leading style known as team builder and entrepreneur driven, Roberto copes well with changes and can align people with different backgrounds towards a vision. Roberto now leads the Latin America region that represents circa $1 Billion in annual revenue for Danaher.

Alfredo de Matos

Alfredo joined Danaher in December 2018 as the Water Quality Latin America Vice President and General Manager. Prior to joining Danaher, he spent five years with Voith GmbH, the last two of which in Germany as its Global Corporate Sales and Marketing Excellence Vice President. Prior he spent seven years with GE as CEO or Managing Director Latin America for different business lines within the Energy Equipment, Energy Services and Oil & Gas divisions. Earlier on he spent eight years working in the United States for Solvay Chemicals, The New Power Company (pre and post-IPO at the NYSE) and Enron Energy Services, in business roles with increasing local and global responsibilities. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from USP, Brazil, Post graduate degrees in Marketing and Finance from FGV, Brazil, an MBA from Harvard Business School, USA, and a post-grad business degree from IMD, Switzerland. Alfredo is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish and German, with basic knowledge of French. He lives in Brazil, enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling. His main hobbies are running and playing squash.

Nick Johnson, VP, DBSO Growth 

Nick joined Danaher 17 years ago as part of the McCrometer sales organization and held the role of Director of Sales. After spending five years with an oil & gas manufacturing company as Vice President of Marketing, Nick returned to Danaher and joined the Danaher Business Systems Office in 2016. Currently Nick serves as the Vice President, Growth, and focuses on commercial strategy and execution throughout Danaher. Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA. 

Ricardo Mitaini, DBSO Director, Latin America

Ricardo brings over 35 years of diverse business experience joining Danaher in 1998 and developing his career on several sales, marketing and service functions. He started as Marketing Manager with continued skills development to achieve Vice President & General Manager positions in different Opcos. Before Danaher, he worked for 9 years for Shell Oil in Brazil. Ricardo joined the DBSO organization in 2017 with the mission of delivering regional growth and strengthen the DBS culture in LATAM. Ricardo has a degree in Business Administration, with post-graduate and MBA degrees in Marketing from FGV – Fundação Getulio Vargas and USP – Universidade de São Paulo.

Robert Wood, Principal Economist and Manager, Country Risk Service – Latin America

As a senior member of the Latin America Country Analysis team, Robert contributes to The Economist Intelligence Unit’s extensive product portfolio, advises private-sector clients and government officials, participates in conferences and is frequently quoted in the specialist media. He has been responsible for covering most of the key economies in the region, and currently specialises in Brazil. In his role as Manager for Latin America, Robert is responsible for providing technical and analytical direction to The EIU’s Latin America specialists on sovereign credit, currency and banking sector risk issues. Before joining the EIU in 1997, Robert conducted consultancy work for the European Commission, and previously worked for a development-oriented non-governmental organization in Mexico. Robert has an academic background in the politics and economic development of Latin America, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Bristol and a Master’s degree in development studies from the University of Sussex.

Eduardo Takeshi, VP Latam, Beckman Coulter Diagnostics

Eduardo Takeshi has a pharmacy degree from the University of Sao Paulo and business extension courses at IESE (Spain), Kellog/Northwestern University  (USA) and ESPM (Brazil).   Eduardo has successfully developed  his professional career over 20 years, primarily in the diagnostics industry but also in surgical ophthalmology.  Eduardo joined Beckman-Coulter in 2016 as Brazil General Manager assuming responsibility for Latin America in 2017. This year, Eduardo has taken an extended leadership role for the Regional Danaher Diagnostics Platform.

Eduardo De La Torre, VP & GM, Videojet Latin America

Eduardo is Vice President & General Manager with Videojet in Latin America. Eduardo has worked with Pall for 4 years, prior to which he spent 8 years with Videojet, most recently as General Manager for Mexico & indirect channels. Prior to joining Danaher, Eduardo spent 19 years with Markem-Imaje in senior leadership and Operations Management roles. Eduardo holds a Business Administration degree, having postgraduate studies in Finance, MBA, and Top Management at EBC, Ipade Business School and Universidad Anahuac. 

Diane Hartwick, Vice President Human Resources Latin America, Danaher Corporation

Expertise in Organizational Psychology and Human Resources developed in Brazil and Latin America. Broad background in organizational and talent development, DE+I, talent strategy and leading Human Resources organizations to be a strategic partner and business enabler.

Nadia Garduño, Director Talent Latin America, Danaher LATAM

Experienced HR professional with diverse experience in various industries and geographies. Performed roles as an HRBP and organizational development. Joined BecDx as HR Manager in 2018 and currently performing Director, Talent LA Corporate. DBS oriented with several CTs and pursuing PSP CP. Passionate to foster inclusive and engaging workplaces.

Patricia Munerato, General Manager , LATAM, Cepheid

Daughter, wife, mother of two teenagers, and a professional with > 20 years’ experience in life sciences and molecular diagnostics industry. Patricia joined Cepheid in January 2021 and current role is General Manager for Latin America. Patricia is Biochemistry -Pharmacist, with PhD in molecular infectious diseases, passionate for innovation and disruptive technologies to improve patient care and healthcare environment. Patricia has worked in Latin America her entire career, travelling to different countries in several roles, which helped her build different business perspectives. Working for multinational companies her entire career helped Patricia to develop a global mindset, reinforcing that empathy, flexibility and adaptation which are extremely important to continue evolving in her perspective.

Monica Conde, Sales Manager, LATAM South, Cepheid

Joined Cepheid in Sep 2020 as a Sales Manager for the South of Latam, based in Colombia. She leads the work with Distributors for the development and consolidation of the molecular market in the region. Monica is a Bacteriologist with a graduate course in Marketing Management and 12 years of experience in the IVD market in Latin America and constantly working to strengthen skills that allow her professional and personal growth. She is very grateful throughout these years of her professional career for the opportunity to get to know Latin American cultural diversity up close, who we are, our origins and how far we can go. Monica is totally convinced that cooperative work, the construction of the correct communication channels, and the strengthening of networks is the key to facing the challenges posed in the region as well as the exploitation of all the existing potential.

Gabriela Nubile, Strategic Marketing Manager, WQ LATAM

Gabriela joined Danaher in 2020 as the Strategic Marketing Manager for the Water Quality Platform in Latin America. In this role, she established the Strategic Marketing department and led Market Intelligence, Customer Insights, and Vertical Market activities in the region. Gabriela successfully implemented the GTM Strategic Initiative, aligning strategy with tactical plans. She actively supported STRAT and M&A activities, fully embracing DBS, and becoming a Certified Practitioner of the Customer Insights tool. Prior to joining Hach, Gabriela gained over 10 years of experience in various roles, including strategy consulting, marketing, and commercial positions at EY, Renault, and Sony Music, among others. She holds an MBA in Strategic and Economic Business Management from FGV, Brazil.

Tiago Fioresi, Vertical Marketing Specialist, Latin America

Tiago is the Vertical Marketing Specialist for the Water Quality Platform in Latin America, driving Vertical Business Growth by developing GTM strategy, market research, VOC, and leading strategic initiatives. Tiago joined Danaher (Hexis) as Heavy Industry Market Coordinator in November 2017, having previously held the roles of Product Specialist (Hach Process) and Sales Executive (Engineering Customers) between 2011 and 2014.
Prior to joining Hach, Tiago gained experience in various roles, including Latam Sales Specialist (Bruker), Quality and Environmental Analyst in the metallurgical industry (CCS), among others. He has a degree in Environmental Technologist and holds an MBA in Sale Management from FGV, Brazil.

Néstor Quintana, Commercial Excellence and SoW leader, WQ Platform LATAM

Néstor Quintana joined DHR in March 2014 as Sales Director for Hach Colombia, he was accountable for Hach Colombia’s commercial operation up to February 1, 2022, when he assumed the leadership Commercial excellence for the Water Quality platform in LATAM. He is accountable of SoW strategy (sales to installed base), SLX (SFC maturity metrics) and DBS growth tool funnel management. Néstor has a combine experience of 20 years as General manager and Sales director for Lab and Process distribution companies in LATAM. Néstor is a Chemical Engineer from Universidad de los Andes and has a postgraduate degree in Marketing and Sales Management from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He is also a professional photographer.

Lionel Zaga, Country Manager South Latin America and Colombia, Beckman Dx

Lionel brings over 20 years of diverse IVD market experience joining Danaher in 1993 and developing his career on several commercial and customer support functions. He started as Sales Manager with continued skills development to achieve General Manager position including different Geos (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Chile). Before Danaher, he worked for private lab, Public Hospital, University of Buenos Aires as professor, having experience abroad working in Germany in QIAGEN. After returning to Argentina Lionel worked for Roche, Alere and Abbott´s Distributor. Lionel joined GMDP (General Manager Development Program) with the mission of delivering regional growth and strengthen the DBS culture in LATAM. Lionel has a degree in Biochemistry, with post-graduate and MBA degrees from UADE Business School – Escuela de Negocios de la Universidad Argentina de la Empresa.\

Edgardo Gonzalez, Regional Manager Mexico & Puerto Rico Beckman Coulter Diagnostics

Edgardo Gonzalez has two degrees, one in Biochemistry and the other in Pharmacy from the University of Morón and business extension courses at the Universidad Austral (Argentina). Edgardo has successfully developed his professional career in the Diagnostic industry for more than 30 years, working in leading companies in the market. Edgardo joined Beckman-Coulter in 2013 as Operations Manager in Argentina and assumed responsibility as Mexico & Puerto Rico Regional Manager in 2022.

Javier Radilla

Javier began working with Danaher in 2021, leading the rollout of Commercial Excellence tools. Starting out as a Salesforce Leader for LATAM in Beckman Coulter, he built his skills and introduced Standard Works, which ultimately led to his promotion to the position of Commercial Excellence Manager for the region. Before joining Danaher, Javier spent 12 productive years in the healthcare sector for 2 companies, where he gained experience implementing CRM tools in America, Europe, and Asia. His broad and global background has made him a key player in the industry.

Laura Herrera

Laura Herrera is the Operations Manager for Chemtreat México. She has been working in the Industrial sector for the last 35 years, developing continuous improvement projects, as well as managing high performance and multifunctional teams. She joined Danaher 8 years ago working the first two years in Videojet Mexico as Operations manager and moving to Chemtreat Mexico six years ago to create the operations area from cero, setting processes, hiring the team, and structuring processes in operations and other departments of the organization (commercial/HR/finance). Since 2018 Laura became PSP Certified Practitioner, she has facilitated trainings and coached PSP´s all over Danaher supporting trainings and PSP´s in Colombia and Brazil, always trying to support and enhance DBS culture. Laura has a Business Administration degree by the UVM University in Mexico and has an auditor SGS Certification in ISO9000.

Daniela Turato

Daniela has developed a career at major companies, performance focused for the last 18 years on people management, commercial-operation improvement and maintaining relations with customers and other stakeholders. Daniela worked for BD for 9 years, joined Bec LS from 2015 to 2018 as Sales Manager and from 2018 to 2021, she was responsible for Clinical Sales Management at Bio-Rad. In 2021, she rejoined Beckman’s team as a Country manager. Her educational background includes a degree in Biology Sciences, Master’s Degree in Biosciences from USP and an MBA in Business Management from FGV.

Rodolfo Correia

Field Marketing Manager of Clinical Flow for Latam since August 2021. Before Beckman Coulter Life Science, he worked for 10 years in the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein-São Paulo, as a technical head of Flow Cytometry Department of Clinical Laboratory.  Rodolfo has a degree in Pharmacy, with a postgraduate and a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of São Paulo and the Faculdade Israelita de Ciências da Saúde Albert Einstein.

Gabriela Garcilazo, GM, Videojet Mexico

Gabriela joined Videojet México in November 2011 in her first position as IB Manager. Prior to Videojet, Gabriela worked for Hunter Douglas de México (Window Covering Manufacturing) as a Commercial Operations & Customer Service Manager for distributors and direct channels.  Prior to Hunter Douglas, Gabriela worked for Grupo Promotor Empresarial (Corporate events) as a Logistics & Project Development Manager. Gabriela earned her Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.   

Bruno Silva, Senior DBS Leader, Latin America

Bruno has almost 20 years at Danaher, he started his career at Willett and Videojet in the service area given support to the sales department and customer satisfaction, during this moment, Bruno toke certification on TPI (Transaction process Improvement) and DM (Daily Management), working in several kaizen in multiple departments. In 2010 was invited to become a LATAM DBSL and lead his first PD (Police Deployment), where we move the VJ operation from US$ 56M to US$ 112M in 3 years, today he has certifications on several tools, today Bruno has the mission of implement DBS culture and help the Bec organization to sustain growth.

Aimbere Maciel, GM Brazil, Videojet

An accomplished sales and marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in the IT market, joined Videojet in 2016. Starting as the Sales and Market Director, took the position of General Manager in 2018. Aimbere’s tenure has been marked by import achievements, including successfully overseeing projects like distributor acquisitions, the establishment of a new ink plant at Extrema and moving the Videojet office to São Paulo this year. Before joining Videojet, he made significant contributions to prominent IT companies like Microsoft and Lexmark, excelling in identifying opportunities and crafting tailored solutions for various segments and verticals. Aimbere’s expertise in P&L management and directing both direct and indirect sales teams has been vital in driving Videojet’s success across diverse marketing segments.

Cristina Jou, Sales Director, IB , Videojet Brazil

Cristina Jou has over 30 years of experience at Videojet do Brasil, having worked in areas such as services, marketing, and customer service before taking on a prominent role as the national director of consumables sales. Her inspiring leadership drives the team, achieving remarkable results. Under her strategic direction, consumables revenue has grown aggressively, thanks to the effective implementation of global standardization tools. Cristina leads the post-sales, surpassing sales objectives, retaining and satisfying customers, and identifying market needs. Cristina has a degree in Advertising and Marketing, with an MBA in Business Management from INPG – Instituto Nacional de Pós Graduação in São Paulo. 

Helena Branco, Sales Director Pall Food & Beverage, LATAM

Helena has 20 years of experience working in the Food & Beverage market. Joined Pall in 2010 as Sales Specialist and during these 13 years in the company developed her carrier in several sales and marketing roles increasing sales responsibility in LATAM. Before Pall, she worked for companies in the Food & Beverage market as ABI, Unilever and Mondelez in production and quality departments. Helena has degree in Food Engineering – UNICAMP with MBA degree in Business Administration – FGV.

Ana Carolina Takacs, Sales Manager – Pall Food & Beverage

Ana has 16 years of experience in Sales on Food and Beverage equipment’s. Ana is Food Engineer graduated from Unicamp with Post Graduate in Sales Management – FIA. During this 16 years with Sales role she has experienced in different positions (Internal, External Sales, Supervisor and now Manager) and attended several Markets and Customers. Before Pall she worked in Alfa Laval.

Leo Teixeira, Commercial Director/GM, Latin America, Leica Biosystems

Leo joined Danaher in 2006 and developed his career in several commercial roles, starting as service manager at Molecular Devices with continued development to General Manager and Senior Management in Beckman DX. Leo joined Leica Biosystems in 2017 with the mission of building a solid and sustainable commercial growth plan; and developing talents, teams, and organizations in LATAM. Leo has a degree in Electronic Engineering, post-graduation in Medical Devices, MBA in Strategy and Economic Management, and Board of Directors certificate member.

Daniela Putti, General Manager Brazil, Beckman Coulter Diagnostics

Daniela Putti has joined Beckman Coulter Diagnostics 7 years ago as Marketing Manager in Brazil, assuming Latin America marketing responsibility in 2018, adding commercial excellence leadership in 2022 in the position of Latam Marketing and Commercial Excellence director. Recently has being announced as the new General Manager for Beckman Dx in Brazil. Daniela has developed her career in different segments of healthcare over 20 years. She has a Pharmacy and Biochemistry degree, extension courses at ESPM and Harvard, and MBA in business management at FIA.

Helio Martins, General Manager, SCIEX LATAM East

Helio joined Danaher in 2012 as part of the creation of AB SCIEX, and since then he has held multiple technical and leadership roles with increasing responsibility.  In 2020, he assumed the position of General Manager for Brazil and then for LATAM East countries, with the responsibility to drive business growth in the region.  Prior to joining SCIEX, he worked as an Applications Manager at Life Technologies (2008-2012) and Applications Scientist at Applied Biosystems (2005-2008).  Helio holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry (2014) and a Masters of Business Administration (2019).

Marcos Cozer, Commercial Leader, Latin America

Before joining Cytiva, Marcos worked 27 years for Pall Corporation with the biopharmaceutical market, starting as account manager and developing his career on several commercial roles until achieving a  LATAM commercial leader role for Pall Biotech. Following Pall acquisition in 2015, he is 8 years working for Danaher, being an enthusiastic of DBS. Marcos led the Pall Biotech team who was responsible for the second Danaher growth room installation in Latin America in the beginning of 2018 supported by DBSO. Marcos has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with and MBA degree in Business Management from IBMEC. Marcos is married and has 2 sons. 

Gyvair Molinari

Gyvair Molinari is the commercial leader at Cytiva, for the Bioprocessing and Genomic Medicine businesses in Brazil.
He joined Danaher in 2020 with the acquisition of GEHC Life Sciences business, now Cytiva, and has been working for thirty-four years in various health segments, mostly in biotechnology, with a focus on research, development, and biopharmaceutical production.
He has both technical and business profile, graduated in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo, and has MBA in Marketing from ESPM, in addition to several specialization courses throughout his career.

Nicolás Mallea, Commercial Support, ChemTreat Chile

Nicolás has more than 20 years of commercial experience working at Aguasin in different positions. He started as a sales engineer in the industrial water treatment industry, then he was a branch manager in the VI and VII regions of Chile. Later he went on to lead the Industrial Cleaning and Disinfection line, generating new business applications for Aguasin. At the same time, he developed the line of Soil Stabilization and Dust Control, introducing new technologies that added value to the company. He was also in charge of commercial responsibility for Lipesa-Peru for 2 years. He currently supports commercial functions of Aguasin by leading and supporting the work of Funnel Management of chemical products and products and services. Nicolás is Chemical Civil Engineer from the University of Concepción.

Jorge Santana, Commercial Support

Jorge has more than 20 years of commercial experience working at Aguasin. He has worked as manager of regional branches in Central, Southern and Mining in Chile for 15 years . Later he joined the Marketing and Applied Technologies department, promoting the development of new businesses in media filter and ion exchange resins. He currently supports Aguasin’s business functions by leading and supporting IWT’s Funnel Management work, Products and Services. Jorge is  Chemical Civil Engineer from the Pontifical Catholic University.

Jochen Straub, Director Center of Excellence Latin America, WQ

Jochen is economist specialized in development policies and environmental technologies. Prior to joining Danaher, he acted for 3 years on an interdisciplinary development aid project in the Amazon and worked for 10 years in fuel cell technology and renewable energy sector. He joined Danaher in 2009 to develop OTT’s business in Brazil and, later, Latin America. He then transitioned to Hexis to take over responsibility for Product Management of Danaher Water Quality products. Over time he added responsibility for Service and Product Management overall. 2017 to 2021 he acted as General Manager Hexis Científica and Water Quality Platform Brazil. Since 2022 he is responsible for the Center of Excellence, Latin America.
